I've found some opinions about why use twitter:

- Twitter is very useful at conferences to learn about sessions that conflict with one’s schedule, to find people to meet up with, or to get recommendations (or not) on local restaurants. I always learn stuff from fellow twitter users attending conferences that I cannot attend.

- Twitter is "Simple", It is so simple to use that evn a 6 year old can comfortably spend their time without scratching their heads.

- Twitter is Fast, Twitter is probably the fastest website I’ve seen. How do they manage it ? They have millions of users and so to get the site running that fast they have a very good network of servers.

- Twitter is Big Guns, Of course, If you have ever visited twitter then you might know that. Britney Spears, 50 cents, Tony Hawk, etc. The list is endless.

- Twitter is Ad Free, Just imagine how much Twitter could make by placing a single ad on their website. But they don’t and thats where they succeed ( like google dominating yahoo ).

- Twitter is Fun, You follow someone, they follow you and before you know it you are friends. You also get a personality of the people you meet by glancing at their profile url

Twitter and blogging activities

Anyway if you are new in blogging or to Twitter, then what you do..? usually you just follow people on twitter,Just keep adding , just follow, follow again, and follow always, Why?

Reciprocity. If you follow someone on Twitter, they get an email letting them know. There’s a very good chance that they will click on the link to your Twitter page and check you out. If they like what they see, then there’s a very good chance they will follow you, also.
