How about ditching the monotony of your desktop icons by giving them a new look?
Why not give My Computer, My Documents and Recycle Bin a makeover?
Here’s how:
RIGHT click on any empty space on the desktop.
Choose Properties from the menu.
Select the Desktop tab.
Click on Customize Desktop.
Pick one of the icons you want to change and click the Change Icon button.
Choose an icon from the ones displayed or
Browse your PC for one that you may have saved on your PC.
Click OK.
Click "Apply the change" and close the Display Properties dialog box.
Now your icon has a new look!
