5. URGENT - Read This Before Using Data Recovery Wizard

Before you use Data Recovery Wizard to recover lost data, you must keep in mind a very important rule:
DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE DISK ON WHICH THE LOST DATA IS LOCATED (The Bad Device).

The success of your data recovery depends largely on your adherence to this crucial rule. When we say to make no changes to the damaged disk, we mean that you basically should leave the disk alone. This includes the following:

Do not try to delete folders or files from the Bad Device, even if you are able to see them and think that they are not damaged.


Do not try to save anything to the Bad Device.

Do not attempt to format or re-partition the Bad Device, not even with a program like fdisk or format. If the support people for these or any other applications tell you it's OK to format or re-partition the Bad Device, do not listen to them.

You will risk permanent data loss if you do not heed these warnings. If you already have made one of these mistakes, don't worry. Just don't make any more changes to the Bad Device. You can use Data Recovery Wizard free to see if your data is still recoverable. And even if Data Recovery Wizard can't detect your Bad Device, all is not lost. If your Bad Device is HDD, which is not detectable by computer's BIOS, it's URGENT for you to turn off the power of the device immediately! You will not be able to recover the device with any commercially available utilities, and you should consult a professional data recovery service provider.

Hallo..Recovery Hardisk lagi nih..

Awalnya dulu saya tidak mengira jika postingan pertama masalah merecover data yang hilang ini di link ini, lanjut ini akan mendapat respon yg cukup banyak sampai sekarang, banyak pertanyaan melalui email saya tentang itu,...dan lagi dulu saya sempat berjanji untuk membuat postingan lanjutan tentang menangani HD yg rusak secara fisik ,tapi di tunggu-tunggu kok tdk pernah di posting juga...gt katanya ..hehe...Jadi singkat cerita kenapa sy tidak memenuhi janji adalah karena faktor berkembangnya teknology HD yg ada di pasaran skrg ini yg gila-gila'an pesatnya ,dg munculnya Hardisk-hardisk berkapasitas ratusan Giga Byte mulai 80 GB, 120 GB ,160 keatas.. dan dengan soket SATA dan dg harga yg sangat murah di banding perbandingan harga pada masa sebelumnya, itu tidak saya perkirakan akan spt itu perkembangan-nya. sedangakn teknik repair yg biasa saya pake baru pernah di terapkan utk HD kapasitas di bawah 40 GB dengan soket ATA dan pengalaman saya lebih banyak menangani yg jenis partisinya masih FAT 32 pula..sedangakn HD yg umum di pakai org skrg kan HD dg kapasitas di atas 40 GB dan dg soket SATA, jadi wkt itu saya belum pernah coba menangani jenis2 HD generasi baru itu maka sy blm berani memberikan tipsnya,.. dan melihat itu saya berfikir dlm hati " makin tdk ada duitnya nih jasa recover HD"..hehehe..,dasar matere.. Dulu saya kusrsus 1 bulan utk bidang itu mengabiskan biaya banyak termasuk utk praktek beli HD baru utk di rusak..krn pd wkt itu memang dg skill itu saya bisa menghasilkan uang yg lumayan jika dapat job recover data dr dokumen penting perusahaan bisa tawar harga setinggi mungkin dg kesepakatan...tapi skrg sudah berbeda keadaanya....

Ok, langsung saja utk menjawab rekan2 yang punya masalah HD rusak secara fisik / tdk terdetect ,saya coba memberi tips utk di coba yg tentunya jg sudah sy coba terlebih dahulu (dg catatan tujuan dr cara ini adalah utk kepentingan menyelamatkan data yg benar2 penting karena mungkin biayanya bisa melebihi jika anda membeli HD baru dg kapasitas yang sama):

1) Siapkan peralatan utk membuka HD ini yaitu "Obeng bintang segi enam" , krn umumnya HD di baut dng jenis baut ini, obeng spt ini biasanya ada di toko2 peralatan elektonik yg cukup besar (kalo di Jakarta ,di mangga dua atau Roxi banyak), dan perhatian juga utk membuka baut HD ini sangat kuat/keras jadi siapkan tenaga benar2..
2) Ambil HD yg mau di recover dan catat / lihat baik2 :merk: seagate, maxtor ..etc, dan bentuk-nya,posisi2 pin dan konektornya .
3) Cari HD yg akan di jadikan Kanibal (HD yg hidup normal, ini nt akan kita ambil mainboardnya/PCB yg ada di bawah HD), akan lebih baik kalo HD ini benar2 serupa dari merek, kapasitas, posisi2 pin jumper ,head sector, dan yg penting dudukan untuk bautnya sama supaya bisa di pasang....cari di toko2 komputer yg menjual HD baru-bekas atau tanya teman2 sampai dapat.
4)Oke..sekarang buka dan tukar mainboard HD yg tidak terdetect tsb dg mainboard yg normal tsb, buka dan pasang baut dg hati2 jangan sampai tergores jalur sirkuit di PCB -nya, krn perangkat ini sensitif sekali seperti wanita...
5)Bila sudah Oke, semua baut sudah terpasang rapi sekarang bisa langsung di pasang di PC anda...boleh berdoa dulu supaya berhasil.....

Bila belum berhasil atau tidak terdetec juga coba anda coba 2 tips ini:
1... Panaskan IC-IC di mainboard HD tsb dg cara di di dekatkan dg solder yg menyala tapi jangan di tempelkan dan jangan terlalu panas tapi sekedar memanaskan IC saja, atau bisa juga memakai panas dari Hair Dryer .
2... Bungkus HD td dg koran atau kertas, lalu bungkus lagi dengan plastik 3-4 rangkap lalu buat rapat bungkusan itu supaya kedap udara bisa dg solasi atau lakban. pokoknya rapat supaya kedap air....lalu..masukan bungkusan HD itu kedalam freezer kulkas anda.....sekitar 10 jam atau 24 jam jg boleh...hehe...agak konyol ..tapi sy tdk bercanda lho ini..sudah ada sekitar 3 HD dg cara ini pernah teratasi....

Atas banyaknya pertanyaan masalah recovery data dan permintaan Software "Ontrack Easy Recovery" sebagai respon pada postingan saya dulu , maka kali ini saya membahas masalah cara instalasi dan penggunaan software ini serta meng-upload ulang dengan software yang sudah saya punya dan sudah saya uji download dan sukses karena pada link yang sebelumnya saya berikan di http://www.ontrack.co.uk/zdnetuk, menurut yang sudah coba katanya berat dan sulit untuk di download , dan juga karena software "Ontrack Easy Recovery" yang ada pada link download yang sebelumnya saya berikan di http://www.ontrack.co.uk/zdnetuk, ternyata adalah versi shareware atau trial menurut mereka yang sudah coba download, sehingga mereka meminta crack-nya kepada saya melalui email. untuk itu silahkan download softwarenya di link bawah ini/ziddu:

Ok..langsung saja saya memberikan ilustrasi singkat masalah recovery, instalasi dan penggunaan OER ini.
Beberapa orang menanyakan begini "kalau Hardisknya aja yang mau di recover datanya tidak bisa booting gimana mau install software recover ..??"......yup...jawabanya " install software di PC atau Hardisk yg normal, kalo tidak ada PC atau HD yang normal ya pinjam dulu lah punya teman atau tetangga..., lalu HD yang mau di recover itu di pasang paralel dengan HD yang normal tadi...kalo masih belum paham gampangnya cabut saja kabel data dan power yang ke CDROM lalu pasang kabel dari CDROM tadi ke HD yang mau di recover.

Seperti pada gambar di atas ,menjelang selesai proses instalasi pilih "Skip" , karena software ini tidak memerluka Resgistrasi lagi.
Pada gambar di atas adalah tampilan menu utama "Ontrack Easy Recovery" , untuk memulai recovery data di Hardisk yang sudah di pasang langsung saja pilih tab Data recovery --> Advanced Recovery dan tampilannya akan seperti di bawah ini....
Pada gambar di atas dan di bawah nampak Drive-drive Hardisk dan folder yang ada di di PC kita, kita tinggal menyeleksinya drive dan folder yang akan di recover...
Pada gambar di bawah kita bisa menekan Browse untuk menempatkan hasil data yang telah di recover nantinya --> lalu Next...
Tunggu prosesnya, lama proses recovery nya tergantung banyaknya data yang di recover....
Tekan tombol "Done" dan selesai....buka folder di mana anda menempatkan data hasil recover tadi....


Note: anda bisa mencoba software lainnya yang ada di side bar untuk merecover berbagai type data dan sesuai kondisi karena mungkin anda akan menemukan mana yang pas untuk anda.

Low Level format!

Tambahan, jika hardisk mengalami bad sector, maka setelah data di selamatkan seperti cara di atas lalu hardisk bisa di coba untuk di repair dengan menggunakan utility low level format , bisa menggunakan software2 berikut ini :
1- Download HDD low level format
Tool ini akan melakukan low level (pemagnetan kembali) format keseluruhan sector hardisk.

2- Easeus Partition Manager Download
Tool ini mirip partition magic , nanti anda bisa dg mudah melakukan scan dan mengetahui track mana yg terkena bad sector, jika bad sector berada pada area belakang , maka cara amannya dengan memotong/membuang partisi yg terkena bad tersebut.

Ma'af ,saya belum sempat membuat artikel penggunaan tool low level di atas , tapi penggunaan tools di atas mudah kok, menunya sangat jelas, mungkin lain kali saya bisa memposting dg lebih rinci,
