The basic requirement to be applied in this way, to remove the facebook timeline is by using the latest browser of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer. I have never tried using other browsers other than these 3 browsers.
1- First, visit: http://www.timelineremove.com/
2- Click on the browser icon, to install extensions or add-ons of the browser you are using.
3 - After the extension or add-ons of your browser has been installed, now login to your facebook account and follow the T-Remove Company / like in Facebook, here : http://www.facebook.com/pages/T-Remove/281474221924355
4 - Restart your browser (close and reopen your browser)
5 - Done,... go to your facebook profile to check if the time-line has been removed
